Keukenhof

Keukenhof (“Kitchen garden”, also known as the Garden of Europe), is one of the world’s largest flower gardens. Have you ever seen more than 7 million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths, all in bloom!

Come to Keukenhof, the world’s most beautiful spring garden. In addition to over 32 hectares of flowers, the spring garden offers 30 great flower shows, 7 amazing inspirational gardens and 100 wonderful works of art.

Famous artists and designers such as Mondriaan and Rietveld, have laid the foundations for Dutch design. Even today, Dutch designers are appreciated worldwide for their industry-leading designs in fashion, graphic design, architecture and furniture design. They are the source of inspiration for the theme of the next Keukenhof season.

Dutch design is incorporated in the flower bulb mosaic, one of the highlights of the theme year. In addition, the flower shows in the Oranje Nassau Pavilion are entirely in the style of Dutch Design. Two of the inspirational gardens are also dedicated to the theme: the Mondriaan Garden with its primary square color patches will be a great attraction to the international public.

The Dutch tulip season officially gets underway in January every year as the National Tulip Day comes to town! Everyone is invited to pick their own tulip for free from a specially constructed ‘picking garden’ at Amsterdam’s Dam Square.  For more information click here.
